A weak ridge of high pressure will be in place through early Friday, so we can expect a mostly dry pattern for the remainder of the week. Then, by late Friday a warm front approaches the region to spread precipitation over the weekend. Precipitation continues on Saturday, mainly later in the day. Heaviest precipitation will be for Mount Baker and Stevens Pass area and Mount Baker might get some light snow by Saturday evening. On Sunday, a cold front moves to spread snow to the mountains with Mount Baker and Stevens Pass getting from 6 to 8 inches of new snow, thought Mount Baker could see more. For Blewett Pass and Washington Pass, expect much less snowfall.
