North Cascades Weather Report

Expect dry weather for today and early Thursday. Then for later Thursday a weak weather system moves in to bring some light precipitation and light snow occurring at about 5000 feet and above. Another system moves in on Friday to bring some precipitation to the mountains on Friday afternoon, evening and early Saturday. Greatest chance of snow will be in the Mt. Baker area with about 6 inches of new snow at 4000 feet and above. Stevens Pass should have about 3 inches of new snow and Washington Pass about 2 inches of new snow. Finally for Saturday afternoon and Sunday we can expect dry weather with freezing levels close to 10,000 feet.
