Parenting is About Opening Doors

In the short time I?ve lived in Seattle, my family and I have explored many of the scenic and wild places the Northwest has to offer. As the father of three boys, my most memorable experiences have been taking kids on new adventures, introducing them to the wonders of the outdoors.

My North Cascades Story - Wild Sky Wilderness Area

This spring, I joined Wild Sky supporters in Index to celebrate the first new wilderness area in Washington state in more than twenty years.

The Wild Sky Wilderness Area is unique, protecting 106,577 acres of the most pristine forests and streams in Northwest Washington and providing a clean, accessible place to hunt, fish and hike. Wild Sky will bring wilderness closer to our communities and benefit local families and businesses for generations to come.
